Ear Reshaping (Otoplasty)

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure most commonly performed to correct congenitally prominent ears. This procedure can be performed on children or adults. The goal of surgery is to reposition the ears closer to the sides of the head and to also give then a more natural shape, if required.

Incisions for this procedure are made behind the ears and are therefore very well hidden from sight. Recovery time after Otoplasty is 1-2 weeks, but slight bruising and swelling can last for several months.

During your private consultation with Dr. El-Sheikh, you will discuss your goals for Ear Reshaping, and the best surgical options for achieving these goals.
