Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

After aging or significant weight-loss, the upper arm skin can hang loose between the arm-pit and the elbow, a condition commonly referred to as “bat wings”. Arm Lift surgery is a procedure for removal of this excess upper arm skin and fat.

Arm Lift surgery required incisions to be made on the inside of the upper arms in order to excise redundant skin and fat. Recovery time after arm lift is usually 2-4 weeks, however, slight bruising and swelling can last for several months after surgery.

During your consultation with Dr. El-Sheikh, you will discuss your goals for aesthetic improvement of your upper arms, and how an Arm Lift procedure may be part of the plan to achieve your desired result.
